Hi Folks,

Can anyone identify this flexible ribbon product? It's a light weight adhesive tape with conductive channels set on a 1.2 mm pitch. The dark stripes are conductive (about 4K ohms/cm). It's not an FFC. It has no weight or heft to it as an FFC/FPC does. It's about as substantial as a piece of scotch tape. It is used to make the connection between a small LCD and a PCB in a Lego robotics controller.

I have no idea what this product is called or who makes. I'm hoping someone will know exactly what this is and where to find it. I need just a few CMs of it to reconnect the LCD in this controller. Thanks!

Are you sure that's the thread you meant to refer to? It ends with no solution to the OP's question and some skepticism as the whether it's even possible to fix.

Again, I'm not looking for advice as to how make the repair. I'm looking to identify the flexible conductive ribbon/tape shown in the picture above and a source or manufacturer.
