Hi,
Could anyone tell me equivalent replacements for diode D1 and D8 on the MC2100ELS-18W-2Y board?
They shorted and I need to replace them but I'm not sure if I chose the correct ones.

D1 - Schottky diode that was burned. HER108G ----- proposal -> 1N4007, Silicon rectifier diode, DO-41, 1A, 1000V, 1.1V, 5uA leakage current
D8 - Schottky diode that was shorted. SB560 845

1N700x series are not so fast acting as the schottky versions.
Try DigiKey for equivalents.

Uf4007 is replacement for Her108g.

The original diodes are not hard to find.

 

Seems that is a version of the MC2100 that has the SMPS for the low voltage DC, rather than the simple analogue version.
Hence the HS diodes.
