heya everyone ime new to this site altho i have been searging for awnsers on here befour,
sinds i couldnt find my awnser on here i decieded to join and ask around

anyway ime working on a big coilgun whit 6x 400v 680mF caps and 1 1300v 30A SCR,
when i tested my circuit whit coil and all (whitout projectile) it came out strong and pulled screwdrivers towards the coil at only 130 volts,

now here coms the fun part,
my SCR is now stuck open and any atempt to reset it has failed to this point,
even found a schematic that specified putting a cap whit a switch in paralel whit the SCR so it could push it closed, needles to say that didnt work

so if someone could give me an awnser to this stupid problem ive been facing ile be realy happy
