My Tektronix scope developed persistent crippling problems with the display. While I wait to see whether Tektronix will answer my call for help, I am considering a GW Instek GDS-1000 U to help me keep going on a project while the Tektronix is out for repair or I arrange a new one.
The Tektronix scope only lasted 19 years before having problems (much better than any CRT scope I had in the past) and I would like to know whether anybody here has experience with GW Instek and what that experience was like.
