Schottky rectifier causing problems...

    The attached image is my very basic test circuit for a PMEG3050EP schottky rectifier.
    DS @

    I don't get it - shouldn't I get 0V on the anode if I reverse the diode? :confused:

    The results don't make sense... can someone explain? Maybe I'm missing something in the DS ?

    I tested 7 of these from the same batch... :confused:

    I assume that I've found an answer to my problem...

    After looking more carefully at the DS I found out that these diodes have massive reverse currect... that causes some problems with my original power OR circuit.

    Are you by any chance familiar with a diode with (much) smaller reverse current in the same package (SOD128) ?

    The reverse bias leakage current is 8mA according to the data sheet.

    PMEG3050BEP has 250uA at Vr=30V. Note the BEP instead of the EP part that you had mentioned.
    Digikey is a good source for filtering the components by parameters.
