Hey guys I am taking some old boards apart and there are some Items I cant identify... I was hoping someone here might be able to help

Obviously "R" is for reisitor, "C" = Capacitor...

And is "U" for an Integrated Circuit?

What is "TF" for and what is "V" for?

I looked at a few online guides but didnt have any luck on those 2

Yes, U indicates an Integrated Circuit (IC) which usually has a number after such as U1 or U2. As for "TF" I'm assumming it might be a transformer. "V" most likely stands for Voltage as in a voltage source or something.

Post you're schematics with the questionable components circled and we can help.

Wikipedia is a pretty good source of info too.
