Hi, i just bought an used Sanyo Z5 today for a low price with an extra bulb too. When demonstrated, the rattling noise appeared. rrrrorrr. . I searched for this projector beacause it should operate very quiet; i like that!
I found this threat by typing "2810KL-04W-B39" into google; one of the axial fans.
At first i am going to test the 2 axial fans and see if they are producing too much noise. They are easy too reach and with a bit of luck they are the guilty one(s) I will test them on the 12 volt line in my computer which already is controlled manually.
My feeling says that the 3 lines just do this: red/black applying an amount of voltage to let em work and the yellow line just says: yea this one its ok this one is still turning around at x rpm; so then a processor can vary the rpm.
i must be able to replace these fans (if they are guilty of noise) with 70 mm quiet ones from a Personal computer do it your self shop; the best ones around offcourse.
