Do you wish to convert s-video to av? Its simple!!!
Hold the s-video plug with the pins facing you. (note: S-video has four pins only). The two pins above are the positive rail and should be joined together on the reverse side (usually yellow and black). The two pins below are the negative rail and should be joined together on the reverse side (usually white and red). Thats it!!! Please note that you will have to connect your audio line seperately as this method does not transfer audio.

I have tried it and i'm using my laptop with my tv set....its very easy
