We have purchased Suzuki 600cc carbeurated engine for our project. However, we don't have any idea regarding how the rpm meter is to be attached to the engine. What are the ways to join rpm meter to the engine, so that it can show rpm reading accurately ? (The rpm meter is to be digital.)

There are probably several ways to obtain a pulse train for your engine that can drive a tachometer. Give some details, please.

When you say "the rpm meter", do you mean you already have a tach?

basic tachs are usually taken off the primary side of the ignition coil.

However, you could also drive one off the alternator or a magnetic pickup
