I am trying to build a roller tinning machine. I make my own PCB's and have the whole process working to my satisfaction until I get to the tinning.

Currently we are pasting the board with flux and running a soldering Iron over the copper tracks with solder. It works yes butnot very even and I have seen pictures of roller tinned boards which have such a nice finish.

I am awarethere is a chemical that can be purchased but in Zimbabwe it is not available so not an option.

Assistance willbe appreciated.

Thanks

Why do you want to tin your board? You can get plastic sprays that can be used to seal the copper and prevent oxidation. These coatings are also solderable. So at least for through hole components. You can coat the board then solder it
