Just think what part you will play when the
electronic voting machines get perfected.
Computer engineers are already Involved,
Is the time going to arrive when the machine
will act for you. The chief of staff will be a hacker.
The drone pilot Is already a computer, with a
computer engineer hopefully operating It.
Candidates are provided web sites that they
can use. Robo callers are legal for candidates.
So behind every candidate Is a computer
person, that Includes any self learned person
which there are many.May be the reason you
don't the postion you want or should have a
change at. So may be you will go and hold your
flag, there are highly paid computer staffer
behind,In the back ground operating there
office. In some cases It a staffer doing
every thing but showing there face, the price
you pay to get $200.000 check each year.
Lets say this Is world wide since computers
speak to each other. You don't have to go
fishing to play with a worm. So go out and
find your place, you could be a real leader.
We have leaders on this Forum, they are behind
there post.We have to hope Its possible to
find real leaders.

Is this from your Tea Party speach/appeal. As one of your topic was, people not being aware ?

it all comes true, when we think it as nature loving person, but one needs to follow world's atmosphere, otherwise he'll be muscled by the cruel world's traditions.

of the computer classes that were free, and I could go to
on paid time, and keep going until It was learned. I
don't regret the other choice I made about public

They tried that down here and the old people couldn't figure em out. You don't remember all that FLA bashing on SNL, John Stewart, and about every other form of media.

SNL= Saturday Night Live tv show. The country basically blamed us and Ohio for Bush getting elected the first time. Basically they had all these machines that didn't work or the older people couldn't figure out. Then about a year ago those students showed how easy the voting machines were to hack with 15 seconds and a flash drive.

The democrats blamed the infamous "butterfly ballot", coincidentialy designed by a democrat, ... when their own people advised the seniors that they shuttled to the poles to vote for the second one .... when Gore was actually the third one.

And the ridiculous violating the rules on counting the "chads" that failed to meet the specification in the law ... three corners punched through.

Yeah, the blame was laid at the U.S. Supreme Court also.

I truly hate electronic voting machines. The basic flaws are obvious, in that there is no real permanent copy. If fraud does occur you are stuck. My precinct uses conventional paper and felt tip pens, and then feeds it into a machine that stores the paper and counts the vote at the same time. It is so simple I have to wonder why the other systems even exist.

Bill,

Some electronic voting machines will, or at least should, have what would be the equal to a carbon copy of how you voted. Business' have used the carbon copy cash register papers for a very long time. Why can't the electronics voting machines use the POS printer in the same manner.

I know Oklahoma and Michigan (at least where I voted) had the scanning machines you described. What I did find out that some poll workers don't know what it means when the paper is rejected. Some workers will tell you to just stick the paper back in when a reject means you either didn't vote for someone or possibly double voted in an election. Of course, the machine will accept your ballot as written, errors and all if you submit the ballot twice, or maybe it was three times.

Giving you a POS style receipt or maintaining the POS printer's roll is the way for electronic voting machines to maintain the written record.

In hind site I don't like Gore the man,so much phoney
stuff, and he did not fight to the end. And so many
goofey things, that says you don't what you would
have got.The military started the Internet. Instead
of fighting where did all the money go,he did not spend
It to fight. They keep a war chest of money even If
they never run again.

Hey if you got to vote in that Electoin in FL you were doing good. My family registered Republican in the Regan days and when I came of age it was the Clinton years so I registered Democrat. Well election day comes and my and my family goto vote in a rather heavy republican area. My mom, dad, and brother were all "on the list" but when I went there they told me that I was not registered on the list and my right to vote was being challanged by the local voter office. I was escourted out of the boothes by police and told to leave the property or face trustpassing charges. I then went home and called the democrat hotline and they told me that was totally unacceptable. That even if I were not on the list I should have been given an absentee ballot to fill out then if my vote never appeared at the polls it would of been counted. And thats the day I lost faith in America. From what the hotline lawyers told me that had been getting 1000's of calls about the same issue.

Maxpower,

In the 90's I remember asking a southern democrat in Oklahoma why she was a democrat when she admitted voting republican. She stated only democrats were allow to vote in the county.

The typical line was ... my daddy's a democrat and his daddy was a democrat, so I am a democrat.

Now if that happened to you, someone should have been prosecuted.

On a personal note, I was out of my home of record on military orders and when I called the county to register to vote, they told me I wasn't allowed. I asked to speak to their supervisor because a little over two hundred and ten years before, there was a little war fought because of taxiation without representation. I did get my ballot and I did vote.

There were plenty of attorneys at the last election.
The health bill was passed without tort reform even
being talked about, besides not being a part of It.
The attorneys run this country, the house and senate
bills have to be approved by attorneys to be legal
before they can vote on them. Loosewire,WM
