I'm doing a lab and I am kind of confused about some of the concepts. For the RL circuit is the inductor and resistor voltages the voltage output for both or do i have to calculate the output? Also it says there is a frequency that both the output and input voltages for both the resistor and inductor should be equal, how would I calculate that?

Is this a series RL, a parallel RL, what?

It would REALLY, REALLY help if you included some kind of a schematic. My crystal ball needs new batteries and I've never been a good mind reader.

Also, label the voltages you are referring to in your text. I have no idea what you mean by "is the inductor and resistor voltages the voltage output for both." What are you referring to by "the voltage output for both"?

Okay, I now have a pretty good idea of what you are supposed to be doing, but I still can't make heads or tails out of your questions. Please rephrase more carefully and explicitly.
