Did any of you know we had 2 riots last night. Tear gas were used to disperse the crowd. Casualties were there.....I had fun there

Alright!!
It was due to the huge electricity bill for last month.
U know the electricity bill is like a grasshopper.
It goes up...way up in some months for every body and sometimes comes down to say one tenth of the highest.
So we have riots in most about every thing.
Pretty stupid if you ask me.

 

We just bend over and take it so it could be worse.

I dont think there is a safe place to put a nuclear reactor on the Maldives. One accident and the whole NATION is dust.

And wind is to 'ugly' for a tourist destination such as his.

The power companies have them by the short hairs.

 

We cannot use anything but diesel.
Wind no use, as sometimes, there ain't a breeze yet there have been talks bout installing wind generators at the south, on a reef.
I think this project has been approved.
As for water, same as wind.

Every company has us at our necks. And you wonder why.

With a island full of Riffa's, It is easy to make money off you!

Until there is a riot, and you damage their property, then they raise their prices to get the money back.
