In regards to the swing-in-the-park analogy, and the timing when a swinging person chooses to unfold his legs from the knee down in order to gain an extra push to get the swing higher in its next up swing. One notices that the timing for that is when the swing is at its maximum down travel and ready to go up again. i.e. kinetic energy is at peak and potential energy is at zero.
Does this timing equally apply to electrical RLC circuit? i.e when to apply a pulse to a "charged" tank circuit.
