If I have a 10w and 15w resistor wired in parallel, how much wattage will they handle? How about wired in series? Thanks for your help, Todd

 

Series or parallel does not matter. Each one can safely dissipate what they are rated for.

 

Thanks for the input. I'm trying to install some fixed L-pads in my speakers and may have to use multiple resistors to get the values I need. That I understand, but the only thing I could find mention of as far as wattage is concerned was that the resistors had to be able to handle the wattage going to the driver. Thanks again, Todd
