Bill, apologies again, I’d had a hard day and misinterpreted your comment “are you on the same project” as something else entirely,
But to answer your question,,i have have been following this project from the outset with interest, as it covers many of the basic principles of electronics that i am learning about and more importantly at a similar level ,

Don’t you think the project was well chosen by the tutor?

Im still a bit intrigued by the use of pnp.against npn in this context
I shall look into this for my own reference.

No worries. One of the problems with text is a lot of the nonverbal feedback missing. Emocons don't really cut it, other than to let the other guy know you're not ticked off. A lot of this stuff is old hat for me, but now and again I'm surprised by new ideas and applicatons.

I wish I could have helped Mark more, but there is always next time. I respect how he tried to do it the way the instructor intended.
