Hello, I have a doubt related to barcode scanning..
Is there any chip or board avilable to scan barcode..
I cannot use barcode scanner as i have space constraints..

Checkout "cognex" and other similar companies for an "off-the-shelf" system..

Any smart phone can read barcode data too.. so it is as simple as any camera and the associated software to interpret it.

 

Hello, i checked those links..
see what my idea / application is:
I have 10 barcode scanners(which i need to replace with some another thing) and 1 pc to monitor them, the data frm 10 places would be sent wirelessly to the pc..
how to implement , can u suggest
