my solenoid problems (project forum, a while ago: ) seem to be solved now by using optocouplers. But now I got another issue.
My pic 18f452 is too slow in some instances, for example when changing a page on my display, it stops sending out the required pulses for the solenoids, which basically stop valve actuation.
I was now thinkink about implementing a faster dspic and was wondering if you have any suggestions for a model that is most similar with the 18f452, ie. same number of pins, minor I/O pin changes etc.
if there is no similar dspic that would improve the performance i will run into problems since i dont have time to rebuild many circuits .. deadline is in 3 weeks!
