See the attach.
To remove the potting,. should I boil it or microwave.
The potting can be chipped off with iron

Seriously, acetone will remove a lot of stuff. It's not too good an idea to leave the PCB soaking for too long, though, as it will remove the paint from resistors and the epoxy from the FR4. Your PCB gets a bit floppy.

You can then soak it in 2 parts water and 1 part Viagra. Stiffens that puppy right on up. Just take it to the hospital if it stays that way for more than 4 hours. ;)

However, a quite hot, water bath will work. But you MUST dry the dickens out of it before power up. There are many a technique for PCB drying. I find qtips and ather absorbents, time, and a blowdryer on cool or medium, does well. You will want to let it sit for a few days still to let any capilarily wicked water in hidden spaces to dry.

You put it in the microwave?

oh jeez. ..I dont... never mind.

slap your head a few times for me, would ya rifaa?
Kekekeke. hey there is always a first time. A word of

Caution... never microwave semiconductors. Bad Idea

But it paid off, I found the fault. Besides the exploded IC's and caps :D
I found a scorched and a crispy transistor inside. Now that I know wasn't the result of microwave.
That PWM driver was toast already.
Oh by the way it's a cheap tread mill 200V DC motor driver. Just one analog control was there beside the safety switch.
Now I need to build a new driver for it.
Any leads anyone? :)

Yes. I replied. Are you talking about the glue or the supplements.

And I meant your mother would kill you, then you would be a legend.

1 pound or less to you is $11.46 for shipping.
