I have to create simple LED light control management using IR sensors. Basic idea is that all LEDs are directly connected to some sort of controller that can be connected with a computer with some sort of serial cable. Controller needs to have capability to control voltage which is send to specific light. In attachement there is a picture ... we have 2 clusters (each haveing 3 leds) and IR sensor. When IR sensor is interupted controler needs to report this to PC. And then PC sends request to controller and then controller sets voltage to max and cluster leds now are fully lighted. When they are only in waiting mode voltage is only aprox 30%.

This controller can be prebuild. There is no need in makeing it myself. I just dont know where to find such hardware and in what direction to turn.

Btw: project is very low cost and prototype.

    Any help appreciated ;)

    Thnx in advance.
