First of all i have no idea about electronics, im looking to make a simple baby on board sign for the back window of my car but with a bit of a difference, i want it in the shape of a triangle with red LED lights around the edge which can be operated via remote switch to either flash for a set time eg 5 seconds or flash continually if required, The idea is to send a subtle message to tailgaters, and the sign can also double up as a hazard warning triangle eg alternator failure on motorways at night. so it must have its own battery power as with the remote no wires for easy installation. The remotes and receivers i can source eg Maplins are really overkill for what i require and too expensive, any ideas thanks.
