1 of reed switch (SME-8-K-LED-24) festo model does not function as it used 5 years ago..i found myself stuck in repair this reed switch..anyone out there could suggest me website or video on how to overcome this problem..thankyou

 

It may need adjusting. verify the switch is good, by removing the wires going to it and put an ohmmeter there. with no magnet, you should read open circuit. Wave a magnet in front of it and it should read short circuit. If it does both these things, then it probably just needs to be adjusted. If it reads either shorted or open all the time regardless of magnet, then it has failed and needs to be replaced.
