hello, i have this project to do and i need some pointers. i need to build a circuit that consists of a rectifier with capacitor input filter and an [COLOR=blue ! important][COLOR=blue ! important]IC [/COLOR][/COLOR]regulator that provides two stable DC supplies of 12 V and -12V, 30 mA. Can anyone help me out?

hey, thanks for the link, but in fact i need to use a bridge rectifier. sorry for the confusion.

 

You can use a center tapped transformer and connect one bridge rectifier between the center tap and one of the other taps and another bridge rectifier between the center tap and the tap which left. Then connect the negative side of the first rectifier with the positive side of the other rectifier to make a common point which will be your ground.
