Hi,

I bought a recoding module (link below) and wish to increase the sound level without using the quality. I think the only way to do this is to build an amplifier and use another speaker. Does anyone know how to do this or maybe know of a tutorial that I can follow?

You think correctly, you need the amp & speaker. One fast way to get there is to use an amplified speaker made for a PC: just use the one speaker with the power cord and loose the other.

A pair of jumper wires from the speaker's audio input jack to the speaker on your playback unit can be played with to find the proper connection.

However, there is a limit on how good the sound will be out of the recording unit. The max 12K sample rate is less then music needs. Voice should be fine but it's not a "hi-fi" design, so "try it and see."
