couple of switch mode power supply questions that i discovered and am interested in:

1) What feature can indicate a PSU is that of a switching type?

a) 4A out put current
b) LED power indicator
c) Mains connector
d) Selectable output voltages

2) Plug top chargers for cell phones are usually

a) linear regulated
b) Switch mode
c) SMPS
d) transformerless DC-DC converter

Can someone please confirm that i have made the right choices? or correct me if i am wrong

Actually none of 1 (a,b,c,d) necessarily indicate Switching type?
They can all apply to either linear or switching, IMO.
