I was looking at the datasheet for a MIC502 controller and R1 & R2 which I assume is needed for the T1 how do I figure the value I need? Also after reading the datasheet a bit more I was not going to use the sleep function but from what I understand if I don't the fan would run all the time?

 

According to the d/s if you ground the VSLP pin the sleep function is disabled, but you can turn the fan off by means of VT1 and/or VT2.
R1 and R2 will depend on the particular thermistor resistance (usually specified at 25C) and on the temperature range applicable.

 

yeah at 25c it lists 4.7k-100k
