Hi every one,

maybe this questionis a stupid one but I cant handle it :(
I have 2 pins of 2 different ICs, one of the pins should be GND=0V, and the other one should be VCC=+5. this tow operations should be done when a single push button is pressed..
is this possible? how?

thatk u,

What voltages are required at the pins before the button is pressed?

It might help people to answer if you posted a schematic of what you want to do.

To Adjuster: they are connected nowhere before the key is pressed, I have attached a schematic, I want the pins OE1 and OE2 form 74HC299 be at +5V and the pin CE from 74HC245 be at GND=0V at the same time :)

to Strantor: what kind of key it is? can you ginve more information??

thank you guys..

Hello,

I see that thare is something wrong with your schematic.
You have only one resistor for the displays.
The displays will vary very much in intensity when different numbers are shown, depending on how many segments of the dispays are activated.
You can solve this by giving EACH segment of a display a resistor and connect the common direct to the powersupply.
