I have been looking for PWM power supply circuit diagrams. That Reduces from220 Volt down to 15 Volts.

All the circuits I have been able to find are from 12Volt to 220 Volt. Any links or the correct terminology will help immensely.

You are looking for a switching regulator..

 

Is this 220V AC or DC?

 

What about an ATX psu, 220v AC to 3-25V dc?

or do you have a circuit in mind?

 

ultimately when I understand the technology I want to build a 220 volt AC to 13.8 volt DC power supply

 

I see all new power supplies don't have a huge transformer in them I am trying to learn an understand this technology
