Hello!

I'm currently working on a project where I've taken spy glasses and am trying to add an external circuit to one of its inputs.

The input functions as follows.
Hold down button for 1 sec take Image
Hold down button for 3+ sec take video

I need to build a periodic circuit that will
push the button down for 1 sec and let go for 1 sec.

Anyone have any ideas or experience in this area?
I'm thinking of using A reed relay that is connected to a micro controller but I'm having a tough time deciding which type of relay to use?

What do your spyglasses require to accomplish the task? Do they have external connections? What do those connections do? Do you just need a way to close a "switch" for the times you mentioned? Do you have access to the power supply of the camera (batteries, I assume)?

Sorry for all the questions, but nobody can help you without understanding your project.
