I like to share the idea or if I was wrong correct me that to protection for 110 Volts A.C was identical device ,Earthleakage for used in 240 volt A.C . or any special protection for it. which mean that such as an electronic cut off etc.

 

I can not se exactly what you think, but 110 V is not danger as 230 V. But it is danger enough to kill if you are sensivity. So you have to use the same protection circuits as for 230 V.

In certain enviroments your body resistance can be as low as 300 ohms. That would make you unsafe to work on 50 V (167 mA) or 36V (120 mA) circuits. Greater than 50 ma can cause ventricular fibrillation.

Remember this ... the butt you save maybe your own. Be smart and be safe.

 

are maybe thinking about GFCI ? These devices electronically sense both lines and will interrupt the ciruit on a difference of 6ma.
