hi!

we have a land mobile radio, the one that comes with the separate mic and the radio is separated. (i'm sorry i can't define it precisely)

so the mic is working all fine, but the jack that you insert to the base radio itself is broken. the lock of the 'looking like rj45' got broken, so it is kind of loose when you use it.

i considered DIY repair but looking at the wires, there is one that has the same color. looking at the rj45, the sequence goes like this

(gold or copper conductors facing down)
green, yellow, BLACK, red, BLACK again, white, a slot with no wire, light blue

now I am a bit worried with the 2 black wires.

I was hoping there is a good way to identify the difference between the two.

any suggestions would be appreciated

regards,
simon
