Hello fellows. I'm planning to do a project based on infrared thermal imaging. It was suggested by a professor of mine but I have absolutely no idea on what/how/where I'm supposed to begin. Would really appreciate some/any suggestions and ideas. Cheers!

 

Wow. The first thing I would suspect you need will be an IR-sensitive CCD. The standard CCDs will not see heat(very well). So, if you procure an IR-charge--coupled--device, you would then use a video circuit to display the information.
