I realized that there is a function in Code Composer Studio V3.3 which gives me the number of CPU clock cycle for executing a certain algorithm.
Is that the representation of the number of clock cycles needed when using that DSP?
and base on the DSP's clock frequency, i can then calculate the amount of time needed for the execution of the algorithm?
