Design the relay ladder logic for the given question using the attached figure and the given information.

In the figure, when a part is placed(manually) on a conveyer at position 1, it automatically moves to position 2 (the conveyer is started). When the part reaches position 2, it is stopped and is stamped. The stamp works as follows: the down solenoid is energized until the down limit switch is actuated. Then the up solenoid is energized until the up limit switch is actuated. After the part is stamped, it automatically moves to position 3, where it is manually removed. Assume only 1 part is on the conveyor at a time and that "circles" up, down at the top are the up, down solenoids.

I have worked like the give picture

The upper limit switch will never be switched as you have drawn it. The stamp will raise up until the lower limit switch is released, and then stop. You need to add a relay latch for the the up solenoid. Otherwise it looks good.

dont you think an input to tell the down solenioid to not run if the conveyor is running would be a good idea? and an input to tell the conveyor to not un if not on the upper limit too?
