Hi! I need to design DC power supply. I am using a transformer first, then a rectifier and finally a voltage regulator. But I was not able to get hold of a -60 V voltage regulator. Please help me in this regard. Also are there any other ways to design the power supply? Thanks a lot.

 

What do you need the supply for? If you provide more information then someone may be able to help you. What do you want the power supply to be capable of supplying?

 

I am looking for a +/- 60 V power supply for a piezo device. The supply is for the amplifiers.

 

How much current? What is the unregulated voltage of the bare bones transformer, bridge, and capacitors (and the values of the components you used)?

Schematics are always nice, to prevent assumptions.
