Hi ppl.. i'm new to Vlsi-world. I would like to know a software which will be suitable for calculating the power dissipation ( Should calculate static power, dynamic power) and even the delay for each and every individual transistors and CMOS Inverter . My project is concerned with power dissipation.

You could use Excel or the OpenOffice spreadsheet.

That will allow you to set the calculations up one time and input as much as you want. Even do automatic plotting.
