i am studieng the Automatc voltage regulators for generators and i found a problem about the fcr mode and what i understood about that is a manual mode of operation, which gives a constant current to the field when AVR fails to.
so if anyone knows the real function of FCR(Field current regulator) mode of AVR .. So is AVR operate in FCR mode when in leading power factor mode( absorbing reactive power from the system)
