Can anyone recommend a 35W Power Amplifier to operate in the frequency range of 10 KHz to 1 MHz.

It is to be used to drive an inductive coupler to a power line.

 

Freescale has some power transistors but I don't think they do 35W, and their frequency range is much higher than that (GHz range). You could try looking online at Digi-Key and search for the particular item you need.

You might check with the utility and see if they like your idea. They could object, as they might already be signaling over those same lines to remotely read meters and control switchgear.
