Greetings everyone!
I'm doing a project that can identify the position of finger whenever it is in contact with the surface of a 30cm x 30cm plastic board in the position format of (x-axis, y-axis), and I wish to use a capacitive sensor to perform this task. My initial plan was using many conducting plates below my position sensing board, but I found that in order to have a high accuracy, I need a lot of conducting plates and I might mess up my project when connecting the plates together. I've done some research found that capacitive sensor can be used for position identifying but that is for non-contact case. Is there any suitable sensor that I can use? Else I have to stick to my initial plan.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!
