Hi, all,
I'm a first-timer here, and I really appreciate your help. I want to design a stimulator for use with a hook electrode on the sacral roots of mammals, much like the one here:

Do you have any suggestions on a core IC that might make this easier than designing by scratch? I've looked at the MAX038 and other similar waveform generators, but they don't really offer the waveform parameter alteration capabilities needed (see above link). I only need a square wave output, preferably in current instead of voltage (although I guess I could also use a voltage signal and transconductance amplifier). If you have any suggestions, I'd be much obliged!
Thanks!
