i Have read the limitied sources on the internet especially wikipedia but i couldnt understand the logic of this mammoth of the transistors, i plead you describe it in detail especially on the depiction with gold foil on the wiki, is the germanium block there have a p and a n type joint ?
if so pls tell me how this device works..best regards..

i especially wonder what makes the current flowing from collector to base bigger when a bigger voltage is applied to the emitter base

Try a Google search on the history of transistors.

The first transistor was indeed huge. Later transistors work in a very similar fashion.
