Hi,

I have found following stepper motor from the market, but not yet purchased.

It has maximum holding torque (lb-in)

36.25, which is very less, and I think I should search for another motor. It has 0.72 step angle, so how much steps it has in per rotation. Please guide me how much is it batter to install in CNC machine. If it is not then please suggest for another batter one.

500 steps per rotation, but no chance we can guess if it will work on your CNC machine. Not enough information.

 

I used these in my DIY CNC machine.. 2ft x 2ft bed w/12in Z axis travel running a rotozip tool as the spindle.

I used the 205oz ones.

But like #12 said you provided NO information about your "cnc" machine so no one can answer your question properly.

 

You should use NEMA size motors, #23 or larger. Mcgyvr linked to motors that are NEMA size 23.

 

The motor is also a "5 phase" which is old technology, hard to find drivers for them.
