I need to design a circuit that consist 12V7AH rechargeable battery which is charged at 13-14 Dc v....
this battery will be connected to a 12DCV Lamp (which runs without any transformer or circuit when i directly connect it to battery)

Now i want such a circuit in which 13-14DCV from the MAINS are charging the battery and whenever MAIN breaks down the Lamp turns on it self....

Plz help..diagrams would be more prefferable

Note:
The battery should not be over charged...when it is full the circuit should stop charging it...

You know that you really do need to research these kinds of things. There is a great deal of information out there.

 

No it isn't a h.w assignment. . .i want dis lamp to be placed in my room

 

Here is a control ckt. for battery-lamp minus charger which can be found elsewhere in AAC. With loss of AC , P ch MOSFET is turned on, turning on lamp R around 10k with MOSFET or darlington PNP transistor.

 

I want to place a relay in dis ciruit!. . .plz help
