I am new to Elctronics and I am doubting the connection. First, am I missing something, Does a 2-pin rocker switch with an AC socket exist? Please help me with the wiring.

The type you have switches only one side of the AC line. Connect the L terminal, which is downstream of the fuse, to either terminal of the switch, and the other terminal of the switch to the load. Connect the Neutral side of the load to the N terminal.
This type of power inlet is also available with an illuminated switch, in which case there's a third terminal on the switch which would be connected to N.
