I am new at this and am making 555 circuit. I want to make 10 different frequencies available, from a 10 way switch if that is available. I am going to make the different frequencies by changing r2 and the capacitors. I was thinking of putting the common switch between the capacitors and GND, but am unsure how this will effect the different pins and circuits. Could some one like me know if this is ok.

 

since posting this i have tried it with a switch after the capacitor and then also before r1 but both seem to have different frequecies from when the other circuit was completely detached. is the only way to do this to have a 10 completely separate 555 circuits running to a 10 way switch?
