Pizzicato - TDR

For project night at our radio club back in September, I fabricated a kit for a low duty cycle pulse generator called Pizzicato. The original article, by G. Steinbaugh, PE AF8L, appeared in the March/April 2006 issue of QEX. You can use it in conjunction with an oscilliscope to do TDR(Time Domain Reflectometry). I modified the design to have all the components mounted on a single double sided PC board. I have 60 or so kits remaining. Send me a PM if you're interested.

Well a GDO this is not, but it does have 10, 20, 50, 100, and 200 ns pulses and it knows when you mess with length or termination. It's also cheap and can be built in about an hour.
