please I need help to understand how to design voltage control loop or current control loop in PID control for designing high voltage power supply
is someone know good links or lectures for this subject
thanks

One of the best descriptions I've seen is on the Wikipedia page.
If any of the terms are too large there will be too much overshoot and maybe oscillation. Too small and the speed of response is not as good as it could be.

You are driving a car on a flat level road. With the throttle at a random fixed position, the car will travel at a fixed speed, typically different from the set point (the speed limit sign) because the load is constant.

When you climb a hill, without moving the throttle, you will fall far away from the set point because the load changed.

Proportional only control is driving on that flat level road. You will only run at one speed and cannot react to any change in load.

Reset or Integral integrates the difference between your speed and the set point forcing the throttle to make your speed equal to the set point.

Preact or Rate or Derivative will begin to work at the inflection point of the hill you were climbing maintaining the setpoint before any significant deviation occurs.
