I found this thread in "The completed projects" forum.
As the title says it is for completed projects and not for questions.
I moved it over here and made it visible, as it would stay invisible in the completed projects forum.

Proton Picbasic is the simple language to use. I still use it if I wish to do something fast.

There is at least one C++ compiler for the Pic but it would probably be a bit inefficient. There are several C compilers and they are easy to use.

In ease of use starting with the hardest to use:

BASIC
C
Assembler

But the order is reversed for knowing what is going on inside the MCU.
