i am using the dos usd module from http://chipdos.com

i used the uart connection of this module to pic as shown in http://chipdos.com/library/CD17Bxx-0v8.pdf

i tie cts to ground and leave rts hanging.

my problem is, the module doesn't seem to respond.

i also need help in writing the program.
i will be using ccs compiler.
