I have a slight problem with installing my hardware/pic programmer and was wanting to find out how i could resolve my issue.
I have a VM111 pic programmer.
I have windows 7 basic edit. with windows xp pro vertual machine installed.
I have a serial-usb adapter because i dont have a serial port.
Windows 7 is crap for installing the serial to usb adapter (may be in time a servie pack might fix this). I am currently running sun virtualbox which includes settings for usb. Could anybody help me with finding a good freeware programmer that runs from a usb port? or, could anybody direct me in setting up windows xp pro/7 for serial to usb connectivity, possibly on virtual machine or windows 7 if this has been previously done. Thanks for any help anybody can offer.
